I like the design and good ergonomic feel for large hands like mine. It is not a double hinged opener – which is the style that I like but buyers should know in case they prefer the double hinge design. Hardware portion is sturdy and well made. I just wish I had gotten the darker stained version instead.

I had a similar corkscrew for five years and used it to open boxes (using the serrated knife blade) more than wine bottles and absolutely loved it before the knife finely loosened due to years of frequent use. So far so good with this new one! And hey, it opens bottles too.
